Entertainment Weekly Challenge!
We have exhausted the web and though I’m sure we can still find plenty of places to post and gather more signatures from online, it’s time to start tackling other, bigger avenues. While we would love to advertise in major magazines to get out the word, unfortunately that costs funds most of us just do not have, so another idea came up. Entertainment Weekly has sections in their magazine called “The Hit List” and “The Bullseye.” The idea is to send EW as many e-mails (ew_letters@ew.com) as we can about the campaign in hopes to get into one or both of these categories to help spread the word. Who knows, maybe there will even be a little write up!
Of course, we want to be respectful and not crash their site so please, one e-mail per person and be respectful in your e-mail. Tell them who you are, what you are doing, and link this website! You can follow our guidelines in the Mission and Marketing area and we’ll be available in the comments to help!
Update: Big thanks to those who have emailed Entertainment Weekly with their request to see CB mentioned in their movie hit list!

What does everybody think about targeting EW?

Remember though when you write them, don’t just say because Rupert is a great actor. You gotta sell them on this idea and give them some details about Cherrybomb or tell them something about it that would interest them.
Tao so should we all ask for the same thing and ask for CB to be featured on the hit list?
I don’t think we should ask… basically just tell them that CB needs a distributor and that we hope they will feature our cause and link this. And yes, of course, mention that it’s a great movie – or if you haven’t seen it, talk about all the buzz it’s getting, the audience award is good, and talk about what it’s all about and that movies like this need to be seen.

I really think Cherrybomb will sell GREATLY in theaters I mean…just look at user reviews on here and imdb.com I dont see why it’s nessecary for all this anyway…look at all the other movies out now!…Just promote this movie and watch it make #1
